Old fashioned melodrama at its best!  The uproarious saga of our pure, but persecuted, heroine, Hyacinth Haven.  She's caught in the clutches of evil Fleetwood Dashaway, then snatched from death's jaws by the manly hero Fitzjohn Oliphant, who falls in love with her not knowing she had married the rogue, who left her to perish in the storm.  Hyacinth must prevent Dashaway from marrying Mrs. Moneycracker's daughter.  He'll have to take his hands off her to get his hands on her immense...fortune.  Boo for the villains!  Cheer for the Hero! Pine for the pure hearted!
