Joy joined up with the Dunnville Community Theatre several years ago and was quick to adapt to our ever changing environment! Initially she we drafted her as assistant producer for the production of 'Write About What You Know'. Then, on her first night out, (due to an unforeseen glitch of not enough male actors) we asked her to take on an acting role instead. Flexible as she is, Joy took on the role of Enid (who was a Stanley originally but now Enid!) and began rehearsals the next minute.

After a 3 year "maternity leave", Joy says she's glad to be back at DCT.  "Since expecting my third (& final) child onstage, I have been loving being home raising my kids. It hasn't been all diapers & teething-I've also enjoyed playing "Mary Magdelene" in the Easter productions at Wainfleet Brethren-in-Christ church, for the past 2 years.  I look forward being part of this crazy play, and acting with a fun & talented ensemble.
